Hidden Harbor is a family owned and operated marina that offers berthing for sailboats
only.
Hidden Harbor is not open to the general
public, and the facilities are for the exclusive use of the berthers.
Hidden Harbor offers the owners of
sailboats a quiet, relaxing, and secure environment in which to berth their sailboat, and
to enjoy the greatest sailing and secluded anchorages in this part of the Delta.

BERTH RATES: $6.15 per / foot. A $25.00 gate card deposit is required. Hidden
Harbor does not mail a monthly invoice. Berth rents are due by the
10th of each month. Slips are reserved on a first come / first served
SECURITY: The owners / harbormasters live at the marina, as well does the
assistant harbormaster. A card lock gate allows only berthers to enter.
FACILITIES: Men's and
women's restrooms as well as laundry rooms are
located at the west end of each harbor. A central
garbage container is located behind the
work-shop at the east harbor. Crushed ice in 7lb
bags is also located behind the
work-shop. Electrical outlets on the docks are
20 amp twist locks. Fresh, clean, great
tasting water is supplied to the docks and restrooms
from our own 300 foot deep well. Gas,
diesel, and a self-serve waste pump-out are located
on the gas dock.
SAILING AND ANCHORAGES: Great sailing is just outside the harbor
entrances. Westerly winds from the bay provide a beam reach, either north to Cache Slough,
or south down the Sacramento River. The north Cache Slough area has many isolated
anchorages. The Hidden Harbor "Slough Book" is available in the office, and
details these areas. Benicia is just a few hours sail downriver, and is an excellent
overnight destination.
HARBOR DEPTHS: The "east harbor" has a 7 foot depth throughout
at a 0.0 low tide. The :west harbor" varies from 7 feet to 5 feet at a 0.0 low tide.
RIO
VISTA: Rio
Vista is located just 2 miles from Hidden Harbor,
via the
Real McCoy Ferry, which is operated by Cal Trans
and operates 24 hours a day. Rio Vista
has a full service boatyard, Waltons Marine, which
is located behind the Delta Marina.
Liras supermarket and Ace hardware have an excellent
variety of supplies, and several
restaurants in town offer a fine choice of dining.
Hidden Harbor Marina's: philosophy
of a "sailboats only" harbor stems from the fact that "sailboaters" in
general are a more laid-back type boater. They aren't interested in getting anywhere in a
hurry, or lots of noise, or they wouldn't have a sailboat. We also don't have covered
slips, as we believe that covered slips would ruin the aesthetics of Hidden Harbor's
natural Delta setting.
Hidden
Harbor has berthed powerboats in the past,
and will do so in the future, provided
there is slip
availability, (sailboats take precedence) and
the type of power vessel meets with our
approval. If you have a powerboat, minimum
of 35 feet, and have the mind set of a
sailboater, stop by and view our facility.
